Hi everyone! We are new to this blogging thing, but thought it would be a fun way to diary our experience. This way, everyone can share in the craziness! :) We don't promise any Pulitzer performances, but we do guarantee you will get some laughs, so stay tuned for updates throughout the next year...
This was our first weekend of reception venue hunting, and boy was it a doosie! We had a jam-packed 10 hours of "shopping around" on Saturday, followed by 6 hours on Sunday! Mom Jala was in tow, and such a good sport.
Definitely more work than we expected, but lots of fun too, and it's all for a good reason, right?! Let the games begin!!!
Two places we visited this weekend that we liked the best were Westbury Manor and East Wind Caterers. Both were large enough to hold all our family and friends, and had beautiful grounds. We originally thought about a date in March, but now we're thinking more about April or May so our guests can enjoy the warmer weather. Lots more to visit, so it's anybody's guess where we will end up!
