Yes, today was the ninth attempt in the search, and (aside from the lack of finding a dress) what a beautiful day it was! You couldn't even tell a hurricane passed by yesterday and created a flood so large around our apartment that a moat actually formed! It was sunny with a warm breeze, but not too hot or humid. A perfect summer day in the big apple!
Mom and Aunt Barbara joined me in today's search. We started out at Kleinfeld's, where I tried on 4 dresses. Next came a lunch break at Puttanesca, and then we headed over to Saks where I tried on another half dozen or so dresses. As is becoming typical, there were one or two dresses that I liked and stayed in for a few lingering minutes, but none that I had a desire to whip out my credit card for.
Time is really ticking by, and I'm reminded of that each time I visit a bridal store. Why it takes 8 months to order a dress that is mass-produced, I have no idea. But hey, I'm not the one making the rules -- I only have to play by them. Aunt Barbara gave me a deadline of 2 weeks to find a dress. GULP!!!! I hope I can do it!

Nicole,
We did indeed find a gown that had that WOW factor! Let us return to the wedding center in Commack and order it already!
Love you
What, no response?
I can't respond because the person posting is "anonymous" and didn't leave a name so I have nobody to respond to, haha. Is it you, Claire??? I am going back to RK Bridal this weekend to try the Private Label by G dress on again that my mom liked, and we'll see if they have the Casablanca there!
Make sure that whatever you choose is your "I feel like a princess" choice. You look beautiful in all of them but the two that made me cry you looked 'take our breath away stunning" in! Some people call that the WOW factor. I will love you in whatever you choose Nicole.
Claire
