Good question, "Anonymous". Since the value of the dollar hasn't been too stellar in recent economic times, we thought it would be safest to stay within the U.S. for our honeymoon. I'm working on convincing Shep to spend our first anniversary in Greece though, and I'd love to visit Europe soon, too! :)
Hahaha, good point! Thanks so much for the advice. :) Neither one of us has been to Hawaii and we think a honeymoon is a really great excuse and opportunity to visit. If not for our honeymoon, we're not sure when else we would go?! In general, we see Hawaii as a more relaxing option than Greece which will be very welcome after all the crazyness of wedding planning! It will be nice to sit on the beach and vegetate with a mai tai after running around like a bride with no head for so many months. :) And, we're planning to visit Greece for our first anniversary! Hopefully we'll both have some more energy next year to really tour around the Greek islands and get to see that beautiful part of the world. Trust us, we plan to put our passports to very good use over the next couple years before we (*hopefully*) one day hear the pitter patter of little feet. ;)
Welcome to our wedding planning blog! We thought blogging would be a fun way to journal our experience and share our excitement with you at the same time! It's not like we would let a little thing like geographical distance get in the way of keeping our family and friends updated... so check back frequently to witness our little rants and raves, or subscribe to email updates. Lucky you, it will be just like you're in the midst of all the "action", or as Shep likes to call it, chaos! ;)

How about Europe?

Thanks for the comment!!!
Beautiful Brides should not be concerned with the value of the dollar! You and shep will honeymoon but once, make it memorable.
