You might find this hard to believe, but up until a year ago I hadn't really caught the blog reading bug, had no idea an engagement was imminent in my future, and I sure as heck never imagined I'd be co-author of a personal wedding planning blog while preparing to marry Shep! Well, here we are a year later and here I am -- borderline addicted to blogs! Reading them, quoting them, writing them... that's right, t-h-e-m! As of today, I am the newest member of the Bridal Buds group, an online community designed to provide those planning weddings with some advice, insights and inspiration. Exciting, right?! So not only do Shep and I get to share our personal planning adventure with you here, but the newly appointed "Periwinkle Bud" (my alter ego) can talk weddings till the cows come home with other brides-to-be.
