Tonight was my second dress fitting, yay! You may recall from December that my first fitting consisted of me trying on a piece of muslin. Well this visit was a little more like a real dress fitting because I tried on the actual bodice of my dress. Well, bodice sans "finishing details" (and I'm leaving it at that in case a certain fiance is reading!) but at least it seemed more like the bodice of my future wedding dress than the muslin did. :) The designer put a couple of pins in where the seems needed to be taken in a smidgen and then I was outta there. The whole appointment lasted 10-15 minutes tops, during which I received a shoe store recommendation and learned that the fabric has been cut for the skirt of my dress which I will see next time! My next appointment is on March 24... stay tuned!
