Well, the good news is our invitations came in! The bad news is the inner and outer envelopes were delivered in the wrong color. So much for the first rate experience the vendor promised us as she took our deposit money away from us with a smile. ;)
Considering the myriad of possible mishaps lurking around every corner of the planning process I really shouldn't complaint -- in the grand scheme of things this snafu is hardly a blip on the Richter scale. Rightly so, the vendor took full responsibility for the problem and offered a relatively painless solution, so hopefully we'll be back on track shortly.... because with only 67 days to go we don't have much time for delays!
