One year ago we created this blog as a way to document our planning experiences and also keep the VIPs (that's you!) in the loop. We were never big into blogs before we started one - but over the past year we became blog believers. ;) What a fun way to spread the wedding word, share tips on great vacation spots, spend a little QT with the fam, contemplate famous quotes, rattle through to-do lists, publicly pressure ourselves into reform, celebrate holidays, broadcast big news, experience history, ponder why we marry, dare the impossible, get a little exercise, and practice our partying skills. For us, this blog has become more than just an electronic diary of our days. Thanks to modern day technology, even long-distance friends and family can be right in on the action from start to finish - and that makes the experiences all the more meaningful for us!P.S. - Happy Birthday to Maggie and (belated) to Uncle Chick, too! They're just slightly older than this blog. ;)

You guys are so cool--we have enjoyed each and every entry and look forward to "checking in" on a daily basis!! I can't say enough how excited we are for you both! I'm really hoping that you'll publish this blog in hard copy (Hmmm, I know an editor for hire!) because you're both hysterical.......think of it: publish, retire early, movie rights, TV rights.......:-)
